Astrologers hail from an impressive lineage of prediction and forecasting. For the modern astrologer, prediction is not always essential to be of help to our clients. Yet, modern astrologers need not fear the life-or-death consequences of nailing an astrological prediction as our forebears routinely endured.

Here, we revive stories of astrological prognostication in the ancient world and the high stakes astrologers faced. Additionally, we explore how these sentiments may continue to influence the modern predictive mindset, and how we may approach prediction to best serve our clients.
